We had a very successful reunion this year with many more former students attending than in previous years. It was once again held at St George’s Hotel in Langham Place and we have to thank Nansi Hannah for arranging this wonderful venue through her nephew Chris Strange.
Following a delicious lunch we welcomed Jacky Ferguson, our President and Carol La Chapelle, our speaker and the reunion attendees to the AGM. We were also pleased that Ken and Sandra Craig were able to join us. Ken very kindly designed our new-look newsletter this year.
After the AGM, we were treated to a fascinating talk by Carol La Chapelle titled ‘Extracting the aesthetic: The Dancing Mobile as a neo-Caribbean performance genre’.
